FAQ

Q?

How difficult is it to take a story from manuscript to publication?

A.

Actually it is not very difficult on the Authors end. The largest aspect to overcome is the length of time required. It is good that it is done this way, to make sure it is right and with many proof readings on my end to make sure there are no mistakes. When it is finally published I do not look at it again for fear of finding another error.

Q?

What group is your book aimed at?

A.

At first I thought it would be aimed at a reader that was only interested in Legal/Suspence, Courtroom Drama type thriller, however, I have discovered that this novel could be very educational. So this could be aimed at young adults as well.

Q?

How do you overcome writer’s block?

A.

To me there is no such thing as writer's block, it is just a "figure of speech". It is a condition that can come to anyone, whether they are a seasoned writer or working at a convenience store. It is usually caused from fatigue or having your mind on something else that does not pertain to what you are doing. The best way I have discovered to overcome this problem is by taking a break and doing something else that requires less effort (such as taking a nap).

Q?

What motivated you to eventually begin work on this book?

A.

I overcame this very negative downfall in my life and a very important part was to use my mind in a way that was serious. I did not wake up one day and say "I'm going to do this", I had to begin from the ground up....just like a baby taking his/her first steps.

Q?

Who/What was your inspiration to become a writer?

A.

I have always been an avid reader, mostly Legal/Suspence Thrillers, like Grisham, Margolin, Martini etc., would write.  I was always facinated and curious, but did not have the patience or dicipline required to pursue it at the time.

Q?

Does Glenn have any advice for aspiring Authors?

A.

The best advice I can give anyone is "never give up" and be ready. The World will be able to smell any fear you have, even if they haven't met you...if you have to ask the question concerning what you want to do...."don't do it". If it is the other way around..."follow through", but be fullly prepared to have plenty of determination, patience, ambition, percieverance and you will succeed.

A.

Because of legal reasons I will not read unpublished material.

A.
